January Thrift Acquisition

I have had such a busy January already and I'm here to share my thrifty finds so far this month. January is a great time to go around all the charity shops because there are often sales and half price offers to get the excess Christmas stock out and the newer stock on the floor. Take advantage of winter charity shopping to get jumpers, night out dresses and even summer vests or skirts. It is never too early to start your summer wardrobe and I've already got mine sorted.
But, onto my latest great finds. Ella Anna and I went out and hit up Prestwick and Troon to have a nosey at the great charity shops there. She really has an eye for what looks good and I have an eye for a bargain, so we made a good thrift team.
So, first outfit:

I have never owned a jumpsuit and I finally get why they are so popular. Not only am I extremely comforatble but I feel very elegant and very sexy. The jumpsuit and jacket cost me £3.99 each from Barnardos, and the shoes were £7 in Cancer Research UK.
Outfit number two:

Straight outta vintage. I am so in love with this whole look. The blouse was £2.99 from Barnardos and the skirt £2.50 from Shelter. The rest came from my own wardrobe. My shape is strange and I have a chubby tummy, so finding a pencil style skirt that flatters me is a nightmare but this one has done the trick. The shirt is easily the cutest thing I have ever seen and makes me feel so pretty. It was my favourite find of the day.
Outfit number three:

This was another blouse I got from Barnardos for £2.49 that matched nicely with the skirt and also works draped over the jumpsuit.
Final outfit:

Even though the pink, ruffled blouse was my favourite find of the day; this outfit is my overall favourite. I just didn't realise it until I took these pictures. The shirt was £3.50 in Marie Curie and the shorts were a whole £1 from Cancer Research UK. A little bit of a pinup vibe going on here which I adore.
The shorts in particular I'm pleased by; and not just because I got them for such a good price. Ask anyone which part of my body I'm proudest of and they'll tell you it's my thighs. I've spent hours turning them into the beautiful muscle-chunk-monsters they are and I am smitten with booty shorts that show them off. I'm so happy I got a comfortable, stylish and stretchy pair of shorts for such a great price.
So, no excuses, get out thrifting. Nice outfits and new styles are out there for you to find.
With floral love,
