Well, I guess to get started, I better show you some of my great finds from the previous year. I volunteer for Sue Ryder when I get the time between my work shifts, and I find a lot of my cool finds there although I love to go raiding and scrounging in any charity shops I find.
I've actually shopped in charity shops my whole life and worn a lot of second hand clothes since I was younger. My mum has worked for various charities over the years so if I saw something cute or fancy in her shop I'd get it, or she would get things for me and my sister if she saw something she thought would suit one of us; we were very lucky girls!
So, my first favourite thrift of the year was this shirt:

It was actually my buying of this shirt that got me to convert my instagram account to be more thrift orientated and got the ball rolling for the blog you're currently sitting on. I wear it with everyhing because I'm a huge fan of pattern clashing and this shirt is the most perfect, most sublime shirt of all for doing this.
My second one here is actually a cheat because the whole outfit (minus my shoes which you can expect to see a lot of because they're so shiny) was thrifted from Sue Ryder and Barnardos.

The skirt is actually a retro item from the 70s (I think), and the cardigan is Monsoon that I got for under a tenner in my local Sue Ryder which is a steal and a half if you've ever been into a Monsoon store. The shirt is actually long with a see through panel at the bottom for wearing over jeans or leggings, but it looks better crumpled up in my waistband.
And my ultimate, most favourite find of 2015 is:

Don't I look like a fairy? I felt like a fairy. It's so floaty.
I actually have a weird string of luck with the Monsoon brand while thrifting because I've got another Monsoon dress on top of this one that I found (brand new) on a clothing rail in a charity shop. Thrift queen right here. I wore this dress on my birthday and my work night out and casually around the house when no one else is in so I can feel pretty. It's so beautiful; I don't want to take it off.
So, yeah, there's my favourite lucky finds of last year that caused me to have a bit of a wardrobe and style revamp into a strange floral retro old lady. I'm really looking forward to going out around town to see what I can find this month and hopefully get a January haul post in for the end of the month.
With floral love,
